Happy Holidays with Freddy’s Holiday Monkey Bread!

Hey, happy holidays to everyone out there. It’s Jason, your friendly neighborhood Station U 911 radio dispatcher. I just came on shift and have been busy with a whole slew of calls. Somebody just fell off their roof while decorating their house for Christmas. They’re a fairy and ended up breaking a wing in the fall after getting tangled in the string of lights on the way down. Whew, you’d think they’d have kept the wings out and ready in case something like that happened. Anyway, Freddy, Station U’s famous zombie chef, just sent over a holiday treat for us to enjoy here at the dispatch center. Its a whole monkey bread loaf! He makes them for everyone this time of year and I couldn’t be happier. It’s still warm and the caramel sauce is all gooey. It’s awesome! He Read more…

Hi, it’s Jason your resident Elk City 911 Dispatcher. At the 911 call center, we had a visitor recently stop by. He dropped off some goodies for our upcoming Thanksgiving day on duty protecting the people of Elk City. It was Freddy, Station U’s very own 5-star zombie chef. I was floored at his generosity. All he said to me was a thank you for sharing the stories of the great paramedics at Station U and backing them up with support over the radio. The cookies are delicious and I there were plenty for all those in the coming holiday shifts. That’s what I like the most about the Unusual population, you know, the mythical creatures that inhabit our city alongside their human neighbors.
