Before we get to November 12, let’s do a quick tour of Elk City.

Here’s your cast refresher:

 

🚑  DEAN FLYNN

Paramedic, Station U. The only first responder in Elk City who can treat a rock troll for atrial fibrillation and still make it home for bedtime. Dean is the heart of this series — smart, adaptable, and fiercely protective of everything he loves.

 

⚔️  JAZ ERRINGTON-FLYNN

Hunter. Wife. Mother. Jaz came from a long line of supernatural fighters, and her instincts have saved Dean more times than either of them would like to admit. In Book 11, her warrior training collides with a threat that can’t be fought the traditional way — and that scares her more than anything.

 

🚒  LEAH CASADO

Dean’s partner. The kind of paramedic who doesn’t hesitate when a needle bends against a rock troll’s skin — she just grabs the IO drill and gets it done. Leah is competent, loyal, and one of the best things about riding along in Dean’s world.

 

🧟  FREDDY

The zombie chef at Station U. He shuffles in with leftover sesame chicken when the crew is gone and always means well. (Dean does a quick finger count before accepting food. Just in case.) He’s the heartbeat of the station in his own quietly unsettling way.

 

👼  ASHLEY MOORE

Charge nurse at Elk City Medical Center and an Eldara angel. When Dean’s patients need a hospital that won’t ask too many questions, Ashley is who he calls. Calm, capable, and fully aware of what Elk City really is.

 

These are the people in Dean’s corner. In Book 11, they’re all going to need each other.
