A Look At Where the Writing Magic Happens

Some people in the Facebook group asked about where I write my books these days. I took this photo to share a look at what I see every day when I sit down to write. In the photo are the rapier and dagger set I bought for the cover photos used in the Accidental Champion Series. It’s nice being a fantasy author. I get to write off swords! A Holiday Recipe From Freddy the Zombie Chef of Station U

Freddy, the zombie chef in the Extreme Medical Services series, sent me this great recipe for pumpkin muffins he makes for the Station U crews on the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday shifts. He says it’s the perfect bite in mini-muffin size and great for a crew on-the-go. Check out the recipe below and enjoy. (he reminds you to check the batter for missing fingers before baking FREDDY’S MINI PUMPKIN MUFFINS (adapted from a recipe by Grace United Methodist Nursery School, Aberdeen, Maryland) 1/3 cup oil 1/3 cup water 1 1/3 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes (until a toothpick comes out clean). Read more…
