This week we have not one but three guests! All are writing in the cozy fantasy shared world called Cozy Vales: Cassandra Stirling, Rebecca Buchanan, and Scott Walker.

Cassandra Stirling is all about books. She reads them, edits them, writes them, reviews them, and throws them at the wall when they frustrate her. They also appear as main features in all the series she writes, whether as jobs for her protagonists, a love of reading as a hobby, or as literary quotes to teach someone a lesson. You could say Cassandra is immersed in them in all the ways that count. You can find out more about her work at cassandracstirling.com.

Rebecca Buchanan is the editor of the long-running Pagan literary ezine Eternal Haunted Summer. She is also a regular contributor to ev0ke: witchcraft*paganism*lifestyle. Her fairy tales, and fantasy, horror, mystery, romance, and science fiction stories have been published in a wide variety of venues, and her third poetry collection is due in 2024. A complete list of her publications can be found at eternalhauntedsummer.com.

Scott Walker was spinning stories and weaving worlds long before he got his Creative Writing B.A., though he spent years in traditional business before coming back to his passion for storytelling. An east coast transplant, Scott currently lives in Los Angeles, which is the setting for his Little Yokai urban fantasy series. He loves D&D, dressing up as a Star Wars Sandtrooper for Halloween, and playing video games. His wife claims he never disclosed these hobbies before they were married. Learn more about Scott’s cozy urban fantasy series, Manhattan Magic (the first book is free!).

The first anthology from Cozy Vales is now available for free from all major ebook platforms and contains nine stories, all set around the fictional holidays of Winter’s Tide and Lantern Night.
