Nicole Grotepas and Halo of Light on Podcast Episode 187

This is the Books and Authors Fantasy and Sci-Fi Podcast Episode 187 with author Nicole Grotepas.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy and Sci-Fi Podcast! Co-hosted by Jamie Davis and Scott Walker, this podcast is exactly what the title says it is: a show focused on SF&F books and the authors creating them!

We’ll cover Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword & Sorcery, and everything in between. Expect to find the best and brightest authors from all corners of the SF&F book world. Plus, we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

Learn more about Jamie’s author updates and books at JamieDavisBooks.com.

Learn more about Scott’s writerly mischief at ScottIsWriting.com.

Our guest this week is Nicole Grotepas, who also writes under the pen name N.A. Grotepas.

N.A. Grotepas writes stories with snarky female leads discovering their found family and fighting against maniacal Bond-villain types. Her characters typically inhabit fascinating and inviting locations that provide readers with an escape from the “real world.”

N.A. studied folklore in college and after obtaining an M.A., almost pursued a doctorate in the field, but was saved from that drudgery by her laziness in gathering letters of recommendation.

After a stint in the publishing industry as an editor, she left to pursue her own desires of conquering worlds–both real and imagined–one book at a time.

Nicole is one of ten authors writing in the Delta Underground Operatives shared world, and her upcoming novel, Halo of Light, is the next book to launch in the DUO world. Buy/read her novel and learn more about the DUO project at the official DUO Facebook Page!

I think I’ll be listening to your podcast in the future, if I can find it again! Lol

Thanks for entertaining me as I crochet, guys!

    1. Thank you, Katy! That’s what we try to do is let you learn a little more about your favorite authors and maybe find a few new ones. 😀
