One of your fellow readers asked me a question recently that I get quite often. I thought I’d answer it here, in addition to responding directly to her by email.
Lori asked: “Did you enjoy writing one series over another one?”
That’s a great question!
I think I become invested in each series as I write it. During the process of creation, each one becomes special to me in different ways.
For instance, the most recently released book series (starting withbook 1 Cyber’s Changeout now) will always be special to me because my youngest daughter inspired me to write it.
I always enjoy revisiting my first series “Extreme Medical Services”and writing additional stories in it. It started my journey as a novelist. Those characters always seem to call out to me to come back and play with them some more.
My two Fantasy GameLit Accidental Trilogiesare special because I wrote them with my son. We worked side by side on the story and the characters and it remains one of my most popular series out there.
So I guess my answer is — every book I write is special to me in one way or another. I think if that ever stops happening, I’ll hang up the laptop and find something else to do.

I’m a retired paramedic and I love paranormal stories so finding the extreme series was great. I miss the streets, the adrenaline rush. So, I assume Flynn will find out who his father is..I’m just starting the Doom book.. I’ll finish it in 1 sitting.
I just recently discovered your Extreme Medical Services books and I loved each and every one of them. Is there any chance that there will be more from this series. I would love to see where the relationship between Dean and Gabriel plays out. Thanks
