Readers Said They Wanted More! I Listened…

jamie's new video on facebookSomebody said to me they wanted more.

“More what?” I asked.

“More about what you’re working on.”

“Oh, I guess I can do that.”

That is about how that conversation went and I agree, I could do more to communicate with all the awesome readers out there. Because of that, I’ve kicked off a Facebook Fan Page that will allow me to do some regular Facebook Live videos.

You don’t have to catch them live. They’ll be available for replay after the fact, too.

In these videos, I’ll provide a brief update of what I’m working on and in some of them, I’ll read a selected scene from a project on which I’m working. Sound good to you?

If you want me to do this leave a comment below and let me know what you’d like me to do.

Here are some great book suggestions while you wait for my next release from the Delivery Mage series.

book coverLearn to fight. Pass my trials. Stay alive.

As long as I can keep my supernatural origins hidden, my life is simple. It’s just my best friend and me against the world, eating dried Ramen and peas, watching reality TV, and laying low in the city that never sleeps.

That is until Draven, a dangerously attractive hunter, tracks me down and kidnaps me. He’s with the Obsidian Order, and he gives me a choice: join their ranks or die. All I have to do is pass a series of deadly trials, competing against a bunch of supernaturals who want me dead. Sounds easy, right?

There’s one problem with that; I have no memories of my past, which means I don’t have the skills to compete. Now, I have to learn magic—fast—because I’ve been promised my best friend will die if I fail, and if we both die, the secret we’re carrying could fall into the wrong hands.

book coverAfter a childhood filled with demons and her devil-worshiping parents, Lydia longs for a quiet, normal life, a safe haven somewhere blissfully dull.

Being the manager at the Roanoke Apartments seems to fit that bill. But Lydia soon learns that you can’t leave the past behind so easily.

She finds herself faced with unclogging drains for werewolves, conducting nightly vampire counseling sessions, and caring for two talkative cats.

Then there’s the distraction of Geoffrey, the hottest, and most angelic, boss anyone ever dreamed of. As if that isn’t enough, the demon who nearly killed her shows up to finish the job.

So much for a peaceful, simple life…

Thanks to her offbeat mother, Shade’s full name is Galactic Shade Griffin. Having a name like that while being the new girl in school is pretty much catnip for bullies.

The summer before Shade’s junior year of high school, her mother breaks up with yet another boyfriend and moves them once again to a new town.

This time, they move into a dilapidated old house where Shade has an entire attic bedroom to herself—at least until she discovers it’s haunted by the ghost of a teenaged boy named Brandon Yates.

When Shade’s best friend goes missing, her life becomes even more complicated. With the help of Brandon who’s struggling with his own issues in the world beyond, Shade faces the question of whether or not she has what it takes to become a true hero.
