Back Into The Writing Groove – Plus Some Book Treats For You!

My youngest child went back to college in Ohio this week and I finally get the house back to myself. For anyone who works from home, you know how much having kids home in the summer disrupts your workflow.

Now that she’s back at school and my older two kids are back working full time, it’s time for me to get back into the writing groove. That means I have a lot more books to write for you all and a bunch of new releases coming out this fall.

Speaking of which, my next new release came out yesterday. If you like Epic Fantasy and computer role playing games, you might like the interesting twist in this book I co-wrote with my son. Check out Accidental Thief and enter the world of perpetual loser Hal Dix as he tries to turn his luck around.

A Nowhere Job, A Bootleg Game, and Luck Turned Upside Down

Accidental Thief LitRPG NovelHal Dix was stuck in an unlucky life. His wife’s a successful engineering executive while his job as an IT help desk assistant manager was leading nowhere. Even his daughter’s daycare teacher thought he was a loser. He couldn’t catch a break.

A strange old woman sells Hal a bootleg early release of the highly anticipated Fantasma game at a flea market. It is just what he wished for and he can’t wait to play it during his long weekend home alone. His luck has finally turned around, right?

Hal should be careful what he wishes for.

Wisked away into the game he only wanted to play for a weekend, Hal enters a world desperate for a hero.

Is Hal Dix that hero?

Join the adventure in this first book of an epic LitRPG fantasy trilogy. Play along with Hal and his new friends in Fantasma, as he becomes an Accidental Thief, and perhaps, a mythical hero of prophecy. Click to buy Accidental Thief now.

Another book idea you might enjoy –

First Sight: The Rune Sight Chronicles Here’s a book from my friend Boyd Craven: First Sight: The Rune Sight Chronicles.

My name is Thomas Wright. I’ve been on the run from the Council of Mages for as long as I can remember. You’d have to ask the Council why, because I have a long memory and don’t know what I or my parents did wrong.

I had everything figured out at one point. Then, I broke one of my own rules.  I had drinks and there was this woman – my main rule is no women, connections and entanglements – it makes for a lonely existence. Now I’m running for my life from the world’s foremost assassin.  He is thought to be immortal, which would make killing him a little tougher than I’d hoped.
