So Many Ideas In My Head, So Little Time

I hope you’re having a great summer season (if you’re here in the Northern Hemisphere with me). I’m hard at work writing my next book series.

A reader asked me a question about where I get all my ideas for books and characters. It’s a good question.

My books come from things I see all around me. I’ve always had a vibrant imagination and to this day, still pretend my car is a James Bond car with all the spy gadgets.

(Sometimes it’s even a spaceship!)

Do you have a question for me? Reply back to this email and ask the questions you might have about a book you’ve read or a character you’ve connected with.

I can’t wait to hear from you!

Have you read The Charm Runner yet?

With magic banned, one chanter has a spell that could change everything …

Winnie Durham just wants to make an honest living selling magical items at her beloved store, Charmed, so she can afford to take care of her mother. But when Resolution 84 outlaws magic, Winnie must find a new way to make a living—and fast.

Caught between the law, her mother’s escalating medical bills, and a vow to never deal in the dark magic of the Sable trade, Winnie is given an opportunity that’s too good to refuse…and hurled into a world that puts her at odds with everything she thought she stood for.

Can Winnie stay ahead of the law long enough to discover the real reason magic was banned?

Here’s a $2.99 gem for you to check out: Grave Mistake (Codex Blair Book 1) .

I am Blair Sheach. Screw up. Outcast. Wizard.

My life will never be the same. Let’s just say, new found powers do not a hero make, and I’ve never been an exception. It was supposed to be a simple case: find the client’s deadbeat, cheating husband, collect money, and finally pay my rent. Turns out the wanker is a necromancer hell bent on destroying London. Turns out necromancers are only part of the problem in a city infested by vampires and demons. And magic cops aren’t any better at cleaning them up than mundane ones. Then there’s me, I’m no one special. Just the last line of defense.

I’m out of luck and out of time. And to save my city, the decision I have to make is one I can’t take back.
